In January we learned that EA and DICE are cooking up another free DLC update for Star Wars Battlefront. The February update will come to all three platforms and it will bring more than just bug fixes for A-Wing problems along with it. The Star Wars Battlefront February update brings a brand new Survival mission on Hoth and a new Hoth multiplayer map that supports Walker Assault, Supremacy, Fighter Squadron and Turning Point. This is all free. The February update will also make Turning Point, the popular map type that debuted with Battle of Jakku, available for all maps that support Walker Assault and Supremacy. This will add much needed depth to these modes. Unfortunately, we don't know when EA and DICE plan to release the update. The official word is that they currently don't have an ETA for the software upgrade. Keep an eye out as we push deeper into February. We'll likely get a release date a day or two before the update rolls out. | |||||||||||
