New, Free, Features

If you aren't looking to shell out real money for new content, EA and DICE have got you covered.

Xbox One, PS4 and PC users can expect the developer and publisher to deliver brand new features inside free updates. EA and DICE recently outlined three upcoming free DLC updates that deliver new outfits, maps, and more.

The first update is the January update. That update is rolling out today (January 27th) and it brings new features and bug fixes for lingering Battlefront problems.

Expect it to be followed by a February update that delivers some new maps and bug fixes. Don't expect EA and DICE to deliver a release date and a change log until February.

This update will likely be followed by another free March DLC update and the release of the paid Outer Rim DLC.

These are just a taste of what's to come. You can expect EA and DICE to deliver free content throughout the year

Gamers have petitioned for an offline multiplayer mode and the companies appear to be considering the move. This would be a huge addition to the game and one that we would hope would be free. Only time will tell.

EA and DICE are listening to their fans (they really are) and you can expect them to deliver requested features in future updates. So keep that feedback coming.
