Latest Hotfix Fixes Annoying Battlefront Problem

If you are playing Star Wars Battlefront on PC and you're using an AMD card, note that the company recently released a hotfix that takes care of at least one annoying Star Wars Battlefront problem.

The AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.1 Hotfix is now available for AMD graphics card users and it's worth a look if you play Star Wars Battlefront.

The hotfix addresses an issue where "some flickering" was "experienced in shaded areas of the screen while game levels are loading." This is a fairly Battlefront common problem and one that AMD users will be glad it addressed.

AMD has also let its customers know that it's aware of several other problems. Here's what it will be looking at going forward:

[81651] Star Wars™: Battlefront – Texture corruption may be experienced if the game “Field of View” setting is > 100

[82213] Star Wars™: Battlefront – Some users may experience minor flickering or corruption at different game location or while viewing the in-game cinematics

If you're using an AMD card, it's probably worth downloading this hotfix, especially if you play other games like Fallout 4. It comes loaded with solutions.
