Star Wars Battlefront DLC: 5 Reasons to Get Excited

Offline Multiplayer

This feature isn't confirmed for a free Star Wars Battlefront update or an upcoming expansion pack but the door remains open and that's got me pretty excited about the future. 

Battlefront owners have been pleading for an offline mode that allows them to play the multiplayer portion of the game offline. I don't blame them. Sometimes, you just want to hop on and massacre a bunch of bots or practice your skills without the pressure of an online match.

EA and DICE have said that they're investigating the feature (the reason I included that iconic scene above) which means there's a chance we get it in an upcoming update or expansion. (My guess is that it would come in a free update for everyone.)

Dennis Brännvall, EA DICE's Lead Designer, recently told someone that there have been "promising" developments regarding offline multiplayer and that's got me pretty excited. 

This is a feature I, and many others, would benefit from and I'm glad the companies are taking the request seriously.
