One big issue with the Surface Studio is that you can't upgrade it after you buy it. Also, it has a mobile graphics card inside. It is likely that you will need to upgrade as games and professional programs get more demanding because of these two issues. The Lenovo IdeaCentre Y910 All-In-One opens to let you switch out the graphics processor, RAM and storage.

To be clear, you shouldn't need to. Spending $2,199 gets you a model with a 6th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card, 2TB of traditional hard drive space and a 256GB solid state drive. You also get a disc drive that can write DVDs, a Windows Hello camera and a 27-inch 2560 x 1440 QHD display. An HDMI-In port lets you use this display with your console or a second PC.

Lenovo's cheapest model comes with an Intel Core i5 processor, 12 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 for $1,799.99

In exchange for all this power, you give up touch sensitivity. As such, the Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO Y910 isn't for anyone that wants a Surface Studio because they want to draw. It's only for those that want a high-end Windows 10 all-in-one.
