The T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 release is confirmed thanks to a teaser that appeared over the weekend. While the T-Mobile Galaxy S6 release date remains a mystery, it’s clear that Samsung and its U.S. carrier partners are inching closer to the device’s arrival as we push towards the Galaxy S6 launch date on March 1st.

For weeks, Samsung Galaxy S6 rumors have swirled, teasing consumers inside and outside the United States. Galaxy S6 specs, Galaxy S6 launch date details and Galaxy S6 release date information have all leaked in the buildup to Samsung’s March 1st Unpacked event that’s set to take place on March 1st at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

Samsung and several other companies including retailers in the UK and well-known accessory makers have been teasing the Galaxy S6 release for a number of days now. Now, U.S. carriers have thrown their names into the hat as we inch closer to the beginning of March.

Over the weekend, T-Mobile teased a device that appears to be a Samsung Galaxy S6 variant. Galaxy S6 rumors point to two distinct Galaxy S6 models, one regular and one Galaxy S6 Edge, and T-Mobile’s teaser showed off the Galaxy S6 Edge variant in great detail ahead of Samsung’s announcement. The carrier wasn’t satisfied with just the teaser though.

Ahead of the Galaxy S6 launch date, T-Mobile’s posted a Galaxy S6 teaser page that comes complete with a customer sign up. The splash page, which shows off the same device that appeared in the teaser, says that Samsung’s “Next Big Thing is Almost Here” and that customers will want to tune in on March 1st for more details. This essentially confirms the Galaxy S6 launch date for March 1st, something that many people assumed was the case.

T-Mobile’s Galaxy S6 sign up page doesn’t reveal much about the phone but it does allow users to put their information in to “receive exciting content and special offers from T-Mobile.” U.S. carriers have been known to offer deals and contests ahead of Android release dates and it’s looking like T-Mobile will offer some exclusive information after the smoke settles.

While the sign up page features the curved Galaxy S6, the carrier is also expected to release a regular version of the Galaxy S6. Same goes for its U.S. carrier rivals AT&T, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and Verizon. All five major U.S. carriers are expected to carry the Galaxy S6 and AT&T’s released a teaser page of its own that shows off the same device in great detail.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is widely expected to feature a number of big time upgrades including a 5.1-inch Quad HD display, a new design that features premium materials, a swipe-based fingerprint sensor, tons of internal storage, an upgraded camera, an improved front-facing camera, a new Exynos 7 octo-core processor, Android 5.0 Lollipop with a toned down version of TouchWiz, and more.

As for the specific Galaxy S6 release date in the United States and elsewhere, it remains a mystery ahead of launch. Galaxy S6 release date rumors have pointed to a release a few weeks earlier than usual and leaks have hinted at a date somewhere between March 22nd and March 30th. Those dates are reportedly blocked off for Samsung Mobile employees.

Blackout dates are common for flagship smartphone releases so it’s possible that we’ll see the Galaxy S6 release date land sometime in late March followed by a Galaxy S6 Edge release date in April. With a Samsung Galaxy S6 launch date all but confirmed for March 1st, it looks like consumers will get the answers to these questions and more in just a few short days.
