The Samsung Galaxy S II Attain (AT&T), Function (Verizon) and Within (Sprint) have leaked out again, this time on Amazon’s website, and again a T-Mobile variant is missing from the fold. In addition, the leak offers very little information for those hoping to get the Galaxy S II on AT&T, Sprint or Verizon.
There are a couple of things that we can garner from this leak though. First, it appears that the models will all be similar, just like they were with the release of the original Samsung Galaxy S. It’s very possible that they’ll be identical.
Second, it appears that a launch is getting closer. This leak of course comes after the Samsung Galaxy S II Attain for AT&T leaked out in an image over the weekend.
The real story here though is that a T-Mobile version of the device has yet to leak out in any way shape or form. We didn’t see it the first time cases surfaced and we’re not seeing it this time around. T-Mobile did accidentally confirm that the device was coming but so far, we have no evidence that this is true.
It would be shocking not to see it arrive for T-Mobile so it’s possible that the carrier’s variant is of a different shape or size but it’s becoming a little troubling that we haven’t anything come out yet. Not even a name. In any event, we should know in the near future as it’s extremely likely that we’ll see a Galaxy S II launch here in the United States this summer.
