This was a bit of a toss up between the HTC Droid DNA and the Droid RAZR MAXX HD. Ultimately though, we decided to give battery life the nod over the Droid DNA's 1080p display.

The Droid RAZR MAXX HD, while only sporting a 720p display, sports some of the best battery life available on a smartphone with its 3,300 mAh battery. It also helps that it has an extremely durable design, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, decent cameras, and access to Verizon's 4G LTE network which is the nation's largest.

Amazon sells it for $99.99 on-contract, a fantastic price for what we think is a fantastic phone.
