Verizon, for now, has passed on HTC's most current smartphone, the HTC One. One of the reasons that it did this is likely because it offers a similar device in the form of the Droid DNA.
The Droid DNA is similar to the HTC One in that it offers quad-core power, a full HD 1080p display sitting at 4.7-inches, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Its 8MP camera likely won't be as good as the One's Ultrapixel camera, but it's solid nonetheless.
Also helping is the fact that this 4G LTE phone is extremely cheap through Amazon, much cheaper than it is through Verizon itself.
