The newest iPad Pro can be used to accurately scan and recreate your home or office in 3D thanks to the tiny LiDAR sensor near the rear-facing cameras. While it's been possible to create spherical and panoramic images for years with any iPad or iPhone camera, the LiDAR technology allow apps like Canvas to take things to a whole new level. The 3D scans can be used as reference points to measure rooms, fixtures, and furniture. The Canvas app is free for iPad Pro uses and you can scan as many rooms as you'd like.
