Samsung will have an iPad Mini competitor on sale this holiday season in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 comes in both Wi-Fi and 4G LTE form and the 4G LTE model runs on Verizon's network, the largest in the United States. That means that users will be able to pull down extremely fast data speeds just about everything they go.
It also, of course, features a 7-inch display with a 1024 x 600 resolution screen, two cameras, a dual-core processor, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich though it will be getting Android 4.1 Jelly Bean at some point. The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 also has expandable storage beyond its initial 8GB. The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 retails for $200 for the Wi-Fi model and Verizon charges slightly more. |
