Before there was the Nexus 7 there was the Kindle Fire, a device that combined a 7-inch display with a highly customized version of Android that connected Amazon customers with all of their favorite Amazon features. Well, Amazon has upgraded the Kindle Fire HD in time for the iPad Mini launch and this time around, the device comes with an HD display.
The 7-inch display offers 1280 x 800-pixel resolution, up from the previous model, and the Kindle Fire HD also comes with 11 hours of battery life, a rear camera, and once again, access to Amazon's host of services. Amazon offers it in 16GB form for $199 and 32GB for $249.99. |
