Last month, the LG G3 arrived in the United States to replace the LG G2. And while it didn't receive the same fanfare as the HTC One M8 and Samsung Galaxy S5 did earlier in the year, the LG G3 might just be better than the both of them. There's also a chance it could be better than the Galaxy Note 4.

LG's G3 is an impressive specimen and a device that we consider one of the best smartphones on the market. In our eyes, it might just be the best Android has to offer. That alone makes it worth checking out. It also helps that it comes with an array of high performance hardware including a 5.5 inch QHD display. What's nice is that its compact enough for easy one-handed use.

It doesn't come with an S Pen but again, you may not even need the Galaxy Note 4's S Pen.

The fact that consumers can now get this device for $100 on-contract, or $200 less than the expected Galaxy Note 4 price, makes it a device worth looking at this month. Even those who go into a store, take a look, and walk out empty handed will be doing themselves a great service.

This device will truly be one of the Galaxy Note 4's top competitors.

Why include 5″ phones when comparing to a note? What about the Chinese copies (xiaomi et al)? I’m a note 3 user have the tab s and a Samsung TV…. Samsung stuff integrates nicely so doubt I’ll be moving from the n4.
