U.S. Cellular Galaxy Note 2 Just Got More Attractive
Just a few days removed from the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 launch on U.S. Cellular comes a pleasant surprise for owners of the regional carrier’s 5.5-inch phablet as it today announced a massive 4G LTE expansion wherein the network will be heading to 30 new markets in November.
Today, U.S. Cellular announced that it would be expanding its 4G LTE network, as promised, to a host of new cities in the United States next month. The huge roll out is expected to take place on November 5th and it will mean that new markets in U.S. Cellular’s regional coverage swath will finally be lit up with 4G LTE data speeds, speeds that can reach up to 10 times faster than 3G.
U.S. Cellular promised that it would bring 4G LTE to 58% of its territory by the end of the year and it looks like the carrier is set to make good on that promise.

The Galaxy Note 2 just got more attractive on U.S. Cellular.
The carrier will be rolling out 4G LTE in select cities in Iowa, Wisconsin, North Carolina and Oklahoma and it will also be arriving in cities in Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, New Hampshire, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia.
U.S. Cellular also says that it will be rolling out 4G LTE in Rockford, Ill., Medford, Ore., Yakima, Wash., and Knoxville, Tenn. next. So clearly, this is a very large push for the regional carrier and one that should not only excite current Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note 2 owners, but also those that might be thinking about hopping on board U.S. Cellular and nabbing one of those devices.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is the company’s latest phablet and it comes with a 5.5-inch HD display, quad-core processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box and of course, 4G LTE data speeds for not only U.S. Cellular, but AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon as well.
U.S. Cellular’s 4G LTE network is by no means bigger than AT&T or Verizon which boast 77 and over 400 markets respectively, but with this expansion, the carrier has caught up to Sprint which is lagging behind in its 4G LTE roll out.
