Verizon’s ‘Back to School’ promo has begun and lo and behold, the newly released Motorola Droid 3 and the Motorola Droid X2 are a part of the deal. That means that both phones are currently available as buy-one-get-one free making this an extremely tempting offer for those that are sick and tired of waiting for the Motorola Droid Bionic and are comfortable snagging a dual-core, 3G device.
The release date of Verizon’s first dual-core 4G LTE smartphone, a phone that is likely the Droid Bionic, is still an unknown and it’s possible that we won’t see it launch until September.
That being said, it’s also likely that some people aren’t going to want to wait around until then to pick up a new phone and if you fall into that group, a buy one get one free offer for two of Verizon’s latest smartphones is certainly something to consider.
I suggest that you wait for the Droid Bionic but if there’s no stopping you, you can find the offers here.
