Earlier this month, T-Mobile announced that it would be bringing a white version of its Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone to consumers on December 14th. Take a look at the calendar. It’s December 14th. And that means that T-Mobile’s white Galaxy S II is currently available for purchase through the carrier’s online store. Yes, unfortunately, this is an online-only exclusive.
The white model of the Galaxy S II, much like Verizon’s white Motorola Droid RAZR, is exactly the same as the black colored variant.
It boasts the same hardware, the same Android software and it has the same price tag.
That price tag of course is $230 with the signing of a new two-year contract. And, in order to take advantage of that price, you’ll need to send in a $50 mail-in rebate. The price premium comes from the fact that T-Mobile’s Galaxy S II runs on the carrier’s HSPA+ 42Mbps network.
