XCOM 2 Release: 5 Things Gamers Need to Know

XCOM 2 for Mac, PC and Linux

In the announcement for XCOM 2 we learn that this game is coming to computers, but it is not slated for consoles. This is an interesting choice given the large install base that consoles offer, but might still come into play.

XCOM 2 is coming to PC with support for modding. The initial XCOM 2 release date brings the game to Windows PCs. At some point after this first release we will see XCOM 2 for Mac and Linux.

There is no timetable for the Linux or Mac XCOM 2 release date at this time. Perhaps we will hear more at E3 2015, but the odds are good we will need to wait longer than that.
