New Weapons & New Army
As for new weapons, They Shall Not Pass introduces a new stationary weapon, the Siege Howitzer. It's similar to the Field Gun.
And like the Field Gun, the Siege Howitzer can be commandeered by infantry units to inflict massive damage on the battlefield. DICE notes that the device is "operated through indirect aiming/firing in the same vein as mortars and artillery in vehicles.
DICE says the Siege Howitzer is available in several game modes. Thus far, we know it's confirmed for the new game mode Frontlines.
The DLC includes the Ribeyrolles 1918, RSC 1917, Lebel Model 1886, Chauchat, Sjögren Inertial, and the MLE 1903 Extended. For a better look at these weapons, take a look at this roundup of photos and the video below.
The DLC also includes several new melee weapons. The new options include the Cogwheel Club, the Nail Knife and the Trench Fleur.
The Battlefield 1 They Shall Not Pass DLC also adds a new army to the game. That army? The French Army, a group that played a huge role in the first World War. DICE notes that you'll don the French Army's blue uniform.
We also know that the German Army is involved in the They Shall Not Pass DLC as the two armies fought at Fort Vaux, a location that's included in the DLC.
