Netflix for Android Updated to Support All Android 2.2 & Android 2.3 Devices

Adam Mills —  09/09/2011

Owners of devices running Android 2.3 Gingerbread or Android 2.2 Froyo will be happy to know that Netflix has finally updated its application to support all devices running these versions of Google’s software. It has taken quite awhile for Netflix to get to this point, and there have been some bumps along the way, but the company finally got it together and the software is finally available to masses.

That means that if you’re using a Droid 3, you can go into the market and snag Netflix right now and watch a movie. If you’re running a Droid X2 with Gingerbread, same thing.

So, if you’re using a Gingerbread or Froyo powered phone and have a Netflix account, you can head here and download the updated application from the market and get your Netflix on.
