If you skipped iOS 10.2, you might want to download iOS 10.2.1.

If you own and use an Apple TV, you might want to download the iOS 10.2.1 update to gain access to a key feature iOS 10.2 delivered back in December.

Apple's iOS 10.2 update included the long-awaited Single Sign-On feature for Apple TV and iOS devices. Here are the key components of this exciting iOS 10.2 feature, courtesy of Apple:

- Once a user is signed into one network app, any other app on Apple TV from participating pay-TV providers will automatically log the user into all other supported apps requiring authentication.

- During the single sign-on process, customers can view a page of all the authenticated apps that a pay-TV provider offers to more easily discover, download and enjoy all of their favorite video channels.

- Any network-TV app can take advantage of this technology to enable single sign-on and simplify the process for their viewers.

As of right now, it's limited to CenturyLink Prism, Dish, GTA, Hawaiian Telecom, Hotwire, MetroCast, Sling TV, and DirecTV. If you don't see your provider listed here, you'll need to find another reason to update to iOS 10.2.1.

We expect more providers to be added to the list in the weeks ahead so keep an eye out for updates.
