Mac Mini 2014

Mac Mini 2014

The Mac Mini 2014 release is one that buyers started waiting for back in January when the first rumors of a new Mac Mini appeared.

This summer hints of a Mac Mini 2014 update appeared on Apple.com, but soon disappeared and we are still waiting.

Apple's current Mac Mini is two years old this month, a lifetime when it comes to technology and especially important given the affordable price that makes it an easy choice for a first Mac.

The unconfirmed Mac Mini 2014 specs would likely include Intel Haswell processors, Iris graphics, 802.11ac WiFi and potentially support for 4k displays, though that last one may be a stretch. Apple may choose a new Mac Mini design, but any smaller and it could force engineers to put the power supply on the cord instead of inside.

MacRumors claims the Mac Mini 2014 release is planned for this month based on a source, but they were not able to corroborate this claim.
