Some with the Pixel and Pixel XL are having problems on Android 7.1.2 Nougat. Many of which extend to the Nexus 5X and 6P. Screens are staying on while charging, and Bluetooth is unstable for many. It drops out or simply won't connect to devices at all. We're still seeing complaints about fingerprint scanners, random reboots, and other small problems. The update to Android 7.1.2 Nougat only fixed some issues, while adding a few others. 

We can't guarantee Android O will fix any bugs from Nougat, but it is the latest software for the Google Pixel. Expect improvements in most areas and new bugs at the same time. Some of the hundred+ bug fixes could solve your problem after you install Android O. 

Either way, give it a try and see if some of your problems disappear. It has the latest Bluetooth stacks, and so far Bluetooth is working fine for me.
