Samsung Galaxy S4 Launch All But Confirmed for March
The Samsung Galaxy S4 launch event will likely take place on March 14th in New York City, a day earlier than previously rumored.
Early this morning Eldar Murtazin, of large Russian site Mobile-Review, tweeted that people should save the date for March 14th, teasing a big announcement.
SamMobile spotted the tweet, which lines up nicely with previously rumored March Galaxy S4 launch dates and could tie into the supposed Galaxy S4 release date in the middle of April.
Save the date for a big announcement – March 14 :) And keep silence ;) HTC will miss HTC One sales again :( Like it was in 2012.

Rumors originally pointed to a Samsung Galaxy S4 launch on March 15th or March 22nd, which lined up with our reports of a first quarter Galaxy S4 launch.
Murtazin believes the Galaxy S4 launch event will take place in New York, likely in New York City, where Samsung has held previous launch events for Galaxy S devices.

Samsung is skipping Mobile World Congress, which takes place at the end of February, in favor of a dedicated launch for what all sources point to being the Galaxy S4.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is rumored for an International release in the middle of April with a host of Galaxy S4 accessories including a Galaxy S4 wireless charger, which may have slid through the FCC earlier this month. Samsung could deliver a Galaxy S4 release date of May or June in the U.S. The Galaxy S4 launch could put a strain on the rumored June iPhone 5S release based on Samsung’s reported goal of shipping 10 million Galaxy S4 devices per month and an overall goal of 100 million.
Rumors point to a Galaxy S4 with a design similar to the Galaxy S3 complete with a physical home button, but with a larger 4.99-inch 1080P Full HD display and a better 13MP rear facing camera as well as a 2MP front facing camera. The Galaxy S4 may use the Samsung Exynos Octa 5 quad-core processor, but at least one version has been spotted with a Qualcom processor in benchmarks. The Galaxy S4 will likely launch with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
It would not be surprising to see Samsung send event invites to a Galaxy S4 launch event at, or near the start of Mobile World Congress, to set the stage for their rumored event in New York City.
