On stage, Todd Howard debuted a special edition of Fallout 4 dubbed Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition. The special version of the game is already on sale at retailers like Amazon and it looks like it's going to command a steep price tag. While the regular version of Fallout 4 will be priced at the usual $60, the Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition will double that with a $120 price point. Of course, this collectors edition comes with more than your standard special edition. It comes with a real-life working version of the Pip-Boy. The Pip-Boy requires a smartphone, either iPhone or Android, and it works in conjunction with an application that Bethesda's released onto the two app stores. The Pip-Boy and the app will allow "players to manage their in-game inventory, perks, holotape, and more." It's an exciting addition to the Fallout 4 release and one that fans of the series will want to take a look at prior to pre-ordering. | |||||||||||
