iPhone 6 Doesn't Support AR

You might know that iOS 11 delivers support for Apple's ARKit platform and thus, some really cool Augmented Reality (AR) apps.

Giphy, the developer behind the app that allows you to send GIFs to your friends, recently released GIPHY World: AR GIFs+Stickers. This AR app allows you to bring GIFs into your immediate surroundings and record video footage to send to friends.

IKEA, whom you're probably familiar with, released an app called IKEA Place and it allows you to visualize furniture in your home.

One of our favorite AR apps thus far is called AR MeasureKit. ARMeasureKit allows you to easily take, you guessed it, measurements.

Unfortunately, ARKit is limited to Apple's A9, A10, and A11 processors. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus utilize the company's A8 chip which means they're left out of the fun.

This might not be a game-breaker for every prospective iPhone 6 owner, but it's certainly something you'll want to consider before buying one.
