Fitness Tracking

The Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with a number of sensors and Samsung's S Health app which promote healthy living.

For instance, the device's pedometer can track the amount of steps that you've taken and the S Health app will let you look back at your stats and mull over changes to your regimen if you need to increase or decrease your work load.

The Galaxy S5 is also compatible with various fitness gadgets that turn it into an even more powerful fitness tool. Samsung's fitness ecosystem isn't perfect but it's still going to be good enough for most people and having it on the Galaxy S5 is something that we really enjoy.

Uhhhh, the Samsung Galaxy S5 was released in 2014, not 2013.

Gottabemobile probably have a copy/paste template that they use every year. Typically the same content/words except they change the device names/dates/version number. Looks like they forgot to change the date this time.

Very typical of gottabemobile. This is why their articles are getting old and boring. It’s always the same old “we have been using it for blah blah blah and it’s impressive blah blah blah”. Sure they probably made some changes here and there, but 80% is pure repetition from the previous years.

I’ve been using one for 15 months and it’s still my favorite phone of all time. The only issue I have ever had with it is the charging port waterwater cover didn’t lock into place after the first 8 months, making it less than water resistant down to a 1 foot depth as advertised. But it’s gotten wet more than a dozen times and no damage. It’s been in an Otterbox Commuter since new and been dropped onto concrete floors more than a dozen times and no damage, it’s a tough phone! At the price point for a new one now, 15 months ago it was $800.00, it’s a great value for the money. I highly recommend it.
