A curious rumor from Ming-Chi Kuo suggests that Apple is working on two other versions of the iPad. They could also feature mini-LED backlighting.

According to Kuo, Apple is developing a new 7.9-inch iPad mini (iPad mini 6) and a new version of the 10.2-inch iPad. 

It looks like the 10.2-inch model might arrive in 2021, but Kuo claims the iPad mini 6 could emerge sometime in 2020, probably in the fall.

This is the first time we've heard about these devices so a lot could change over the course of the year. That said, if you're planning to buy a new iPad in 2020, and you aren't necessarily sold on the Pro line, you might want to see how all of this shakes out before committing to an iPad Pro or another tablet model.
