Galaxy Nexus Again Pegged for November 3rd Release on Verizon

Published

Way back when, we heard that the Verizon’s version of the Nexus Prime, the Galaxy Nexus (or Droid Prime as it was called back then), was going to be coming out on November 3rd. That’s a little over a month from now.

Well, with the cancellation of tomorrow’s Google/Samsung announcement at CTIA, many have wondered whether the release of the Galaxy Nexus would be pushed back.

Not the case says Phandroid.

Galaxy Nexus

Apparently, November 3rd is still the target date for Verizon’s Nexus device which means that we should probably see an announcement at some point soon. When? We haven’t received an invitation yet so your guess is as good as ours.

If I had to guess, it won’t be on October 18th.

In the meantime, check out this beautiful image of the Galaxy Nexus that surfaced today. It should hold you over until the announcement. It’s that good.

It is more and more looking like the Samsung SCH-i515 or Galaxy Nexus/Droid Prime will be Verizon’s exclusive of the actual Nexus phone. Meanwhile the Samsung GT-i9250 or Nexus Prime we hope will be the actual Nexus device coming to Tmobile, Att, Sprint and the other Networks. Millions of us will be hoping Google will go for launch on all four Networks simultaneously. With its massive 4.65″ Super Amoled HD screen on the same form factor as the Samsung GS2, this device isn’t that humongous as some make it to be. Don’t wonna sound sexist here but this looks like a mans man manly device..then again that may not be entirely accurate cz we all know a huge segment of women won’t mind playing around with huge sexy devices. So there you go…boys and girls this huge curvaceous 4.65″ Super Amoled HD screen, a 1GB Ram, 32GB internal storage n hopefully a 32GB external micro SD card, a 1.2 or 1.5GHz dual core TI OMAP 4460 or 4212 Exynos chip, a 5 or 8Mpx cam, ICS touting sexy beast is for y’all.
