Gameloft “Wild Blood” Trailer Teases First Unreal Engine Game

Published

The teaser trailer Gameloft’s first Unreal Engine game is finally here, showing the game in action for the first time.

The new game is Wild Blood, and it looks like a dark fantasy game featuring ogres, zombies, and other creatures we can’t quite name.

The only obvious hint to the story of the game aside from the monsters is the line “be prepared to relive history.” We assume that means the history of the in-game world as we can’t remember a time in our history that includes ogres, zombies, and what looks like a magical glowing sword.

Unfortunately the teaser trailer doesn’t show much in the way of gameplay, but we assume it’s something like a God of War game with plenty of hacking and slashing. We don’t know if the main character has any special abilities, but we’re sure the sword has a trick or two, or else it wouldn’t glow.

Gameloft says there’s a hint about the Wild Blood story in the trailer, but we’re not sure exactly what it is aside from the text we mentioned above. Otherwise, we assume the room with multiple statues surrounding what looks like a pool of water is important to the story.

The graphics shown in the trailer look good for a mobile device. We don’t know what sort of hardware the trailer is an example of, so it could look better or worse depending on the specs of each device. Gameloft will release Wild Blood on iPhone, iPad, and Android sometime soon, but we don’t know exactly when.
