Last but not least, and one of the most important aspects, is the price. Google's Nexus smartphones have always been budget-devices that try to deliver a high-end premium experience without a huge price tag. The original Nexus 5 was $399, and multiple leaks and sources are claiming Google and LG want to deliver the same in 2015.

The Nexus 6 last year was a huge 6-inch flagship phone that rang in at $649, which is one of many reasons it wasn't as popular as we all expected. Although it was recently lowered to $499.

Word on the street suggests Google looks to charge $349 or $399 for the 32GB Nexus 5, and $399/$449 for the 64GB Nexus 5 (2015). This hasn't been confirmed, but hopefully we'll know more soon. If September 29th is indeed the release date, more information should arrive any day now. It's also worth mentioning the 5.7-inch Nexus 6 for 2015 will reportedly be $100 more. So potentially $499 and $549, but we'll have to wait and see.
