How to Fix Galaxy S6 Edge App Problems
We routinely hear about Galaxy S6 Edge app problems that may include crashes, poor battery life and odd behavior.

How to Fix Galaxy S6 Edge Charging Problems
If you cannot charge the Galaxy S6 Edge there are several steps to take. The first is to make sure that you use the charger that came with the phone. You should be able to use any charger, but we’ve found that with some Android phones the device is picky about the charger you use. This can be especially true when the Galaxy S6 Edge is completely out of power.
Try a an alternate charger if you run into issues.
You can also try using another Galaxy S6 Quick charger. If you continue to run into problems charging the Galaxy S6 Edge, try a different outlet, charger and cable. Sometimes plugging into the USB port on a computer can help.
If you have a wireless charger, try adjusting the placement of the phone on the charger. On some older chargers the glass back is too slippery and the phone will slide out of alignment before it chargers.
Finally, make sure there is not a lot of pocket lint or debris in the charging port. This can prevent the phone from charging. Blow it out with canned air if possible.
How to Fix Galaxy S6 Edge When All Else Fails
Sometimes you need to do a factory reset and start over.
If none of these solutions fix your Galaxy S6 Edge problems, you should attempt a factory reset. This will take at least 30 minutes, and you will need to make sure you back up your files and information before you start. You will want to make sure you have your account login information and any two-factor security codes needed to get back into your accounts.
This action will completely erase your Galaxy S6 Edge. Go to Settings -> Backup and reset -> Factory data reset -> Reset device. If prompted enter a passcode.

Same thing here I get drop calls they cant here me during calls this is the 2nd phone already they changed the unit. Still does the same problem. Im going to verizon and switch to something else.

The phone is beautiful but not trust worthy. After 2 week I got troubles from this phone. Some time it blink only light no display! If I want to use phone I must carry another unit.
My advice don’t buy this unit!

i just experienced that even with my phone on around 60 percent today it just blacked out and does not want to power back on at all, has anyone else experience this? i tried everything to try and power it on but nothing works….

Every now and then, my phone screen flashes a bright white and then won’t show me the screen. When I try to turn it on it shows a flickering screen. I tried rebooting it with the Home, Power, and Volume Down button but it didn’t work. It turned off, but when I turned it back on, the same blank screen came on. Heelp!

Quite simple…DO NOT BUY…if you take out the people cant hear you when you make a call…cant here it ring…cuts you off mid call….loses reception for fun…takes forever to load half of youtube…claims its got full 4g but wont access the internet….i could go on…it would be alright…DO NOT BUY….oh and with samsung customer care being useless…another reason to stay away from it

I’ve been having dropped calls on mine and yesterday my screen went black. Had to reboot it. Also at times its not responding to apps. I hate this phone. I want to go to a different phone now.

Today I got my second S6 Edge. That 2 in the last 9 days. Both give “Network Error Occurred” errors when sending pics over text either on or off wifi. Both drop calls. Both are staticey at times. Glad to see that I’m not the only one experiencing the same issue. I’ll be returning this device tomorrow as I’ve already spent to much time troubleshooting with AT&T with no resolve. Doesn’t look like it’s their fault. Not acceptable.

My S6 edge has twice recently become unresponsive. The blue light flashes at the top but it won’t respond to any commands just a black screen. The first time it corrected itself, the second time I used the hold home button together with the power & volume down button to reboot the phone which brought it back to life…. until the next time but at least i can get it working again.

I returned mine a after 3 days of frustration. Shutting off, edge not worming and worst of all the notifications go off litterally every 30 seconds.
Got a lg4 fired right up no problem. Its too bad such a beutiful phone was such a disaster.

Regarding your instructions to clear the cache:
“The first thing to try is clearing the Galaxy S6 Edge cache. Clearing the cache requires a short procedure that we outline below.
Turn the Galaxy S6 Edge off.
Press and hold Home, Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously until the device vibrates.”
When I did this, it did a factory reset and I am very unhappy about this. I’m currently re-installing everything.

My edge is unresponsive, black screen tried turning on the power button and the volume button to no avail. Blue light just flashing. Phone is to expensive to not be working. I only had it 6 months.

My Samsung edge 6 plus just suddenly wouldn’t open, won’t take my finger print and back up pass word. Brought it to the shop after 2 days of hoping it will resolve. They reset the phone but now the touch screen just wouldn’t work. It’s stressing me out!

Uh oh….I bought my schedule edge Friday. The notification edge doesn’t work. Also I have a Moto360 watch and if doesn’t send notifications to it. I think I am returning this. I can only forsee problems.

I am having the same problem as July. Suddenly it won’t recognize my fingerprint or backup password. I really cant afford to have a complete reset as I have so much information that will be lost. Are there any other options or someway of getting data off before resetting?

hi. this morning i updated my samsung galaxy s6 to marshmellow. there seems to be a problem with calls. whenever i call someone , the speaker is already on. then i have to switch on and switch off the speaker to get to normal mic. does anyone know about this issue and how can i fix it ?

My S6 Edge only 3 months old, won’t turn on.. Black screen, no sound, holding the Volume Down, Home and Power button together did nothing. I need this too work! Phone is warm, so it must be on but absolutly non responsive!
