Users can only configure the 2017 Macbook Pro with 16GB of RAM, which isn't enough for some professionals that need to run virtual machines. 

Apple is already upgrading this new design at a good pace, so you can look for a 2018 Macbook Pro with new specs and potentially more RAM if that is important to you.
