Galaxy S8 users on the latest Android 8.0 beta connecting devices to these docks no longer get the full Samsung DeX UI experience. Instead, they see a mirror of their smartphone display. 

Those who wish to continue getting the full DeX experience need to stay put on Android 7.0 or upgrade to an expensive first-party dock.
