If you buy a digital copy of FIFA 22 you can pre-load it onto your platform of choice ahead of the its official release date. Pre-loading the game files ahead of time will allow you to jump right in when the game unlocks. 

If you buy a physical copy you won't get your delivery until the morning, afternoon, or night of release day. That may not be ideal for those of you who love to jump into the latest version of FIFA right when it comes out.
