Don't Install If You're Traveling

If you're preparing to travel or if you're currently on a trip, you'll probably want to stay put on Android Oreo for the time being.

Over the years we've heard from travelers dealing with a broken phone or a busted app or service all because they installed a new version of Android.

If you're on an important business trip or traveling in a new place, having a functioning phone is extremely important.

If you're not at home, it's probably a good idea to wait. Android Pie isn't going anywhere.
