On paper, the new iPad Pros look great. But we won't know how they perform in the real world for a few more days.

We don't expect short or long-term iPad Pro reviews to go live this week which puts a lot of pressure on those of you struggling with a decision to buy now or wait. 

We expect iPad Pro reviews to start emerging next week around the release date, but those reviews likely will be based on a few days with the tablets rather than a few weeks. 

Reviews might be great, but there's a chance the new iPad Pros wind up being too expensive or overkill for you and your needs. Many of you might be better off going with another cheaper iPad like the 9.7-inch iPad or an older iPad Pro. 

If money is tight right now or you're truly on the fence about whether you need the latest and greatest iPad, we recommend waiting for long-term iPad Pro reviews to emerge in early November.

Many of you will also want to go hands-on with the new iPads before you buy so you might want to wait until you can judge them yourself.
