4 Reasons to Pre-Order NBA 2K19 & 3 Reasons to Wait
The NBA 2K19 release date is confirmed and retailers are taking pre-orders ahead of its arrival this fall. While some people will absolutely want to pre-order a copy ahead of time, others might want to take a wait-and-see approach as we push through the summer.
Visual Concepts’ highly anticipated NBA 2K19 release date is set for September 11th for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (the game is also confirmed for Nintendo Switch and Windows PC), but there’s a way to play the game a little earlier than that.
In addition to an early release date, NBA 2K19 pre-orders come with some additional bonuses that’ll be attractive to those of you that love to spend Virtual Currency in the game’s various modes.
NBA 2K19 currently comes in two editions. The cheapest version is the standard edition. It comes with the cheapest price point, but it has the least amount of perks.
There’s also the NBA 2K19 20th Anniversary Edition which costs a lot more, but comes with some additional bonuses that’ll give you a head start once you fire up the game for the first time in September.
Now that pre-orders are live and pre-order bonuses are confirmed, you might find yourself considering an early order. There are some exciting incentives, but not everyone should order the game in August or September.
In this guide we’ll guide you through the best reasons to pre-order NBA 2K19 and the best reasons to wait.
