Don't Wait If You Can't Wait Until the Fall or Later
There's no chance we'll see an iPad mini 6 launch in the first half of 2020.
Apple's next launch window is in the summer at the company's annual developer conference (WWDC), but nothing points to an iPad mini 6 launch in June. WWDC 2020 kicks off on June 22nd this year.
Instead, Kuo's research note hints at a launch in the company's fall launch window which could mean we see the iPad mini 6 arrive alongside the new 5G iPhones. Of course, there's no guarantee that happens.
Again, Kuo has backed off of this timeline for mini-LED powered devices so a launch in 2021 is still very possible. Again, his most recent note points to a launch in 1H2021.
So, as of right now, the best case scenario is a launch in the fall. If that doesn't happen, we could see the iPad mini 6 arrive in March, 2021 or later.
If you don't think you can wait until the fall or potentially 2021, start looking elsewhere.
