The Samsung Galaxy S10 comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, but don't expect Apple to follow suit. If you're unfamiliar, in-display fingerprint technology allows you to authenticate your identity with a simple press on your phone's display. It's one of the more interesting features on Samsung's 2019 Galaxy S flagship. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will continue to use the iPhone's TrueDepth Camera System and Face ID for security. A report from Bloomberg claims the same thing. And that's not a bad thing. Face ID is one of our favorite features on the iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR. However if you aren't a fan, or simply want something different, don't wait for this year's iPhone models because they won't mirror what Samsung's doing with the Galaxy S series. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
