Galaxy S6, Note 5 Android 6.0 Updates Confirmed

T-Mobile has confirmed Android Marshmallow updates for the Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note Edge, and Galaxy Tab S2.

All of these updates are in Manufacturer Development which means they are still in Samsung's hands behind the scenes. The carrier says that "T-Mobile and the device manufacturer have agreed to support a new software update."

Unless something goes horribly wrong behind the scenes, you can expect Samsung to deliver to these Galaxy devices.

Since Samsung releases so many devices, it’s kind of understandable why they’re slow/hesitant to provide timely updates. I remember when Samsung said the Note 2 would get upgraded to 5.0… and that never happened.. so I’m not really holding my breath with my Note 4, but if it does come I don’t expect it to be until around 2016 and I’m sure it would be the only major update given for that phone.
