One feature you don't get with the iPhone SE 2020 is the ability to unlock your device using your camera and your face. 

Face ID is a staple on newer iPhone models like the iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, the iPhone 11 series, and iPhone 12 series, but the iPhone SE 2020 uses the old standard, Touch ID, instead. 

If you're unfamiliar, Touch ID requires you to use your fingerprint on the device's home button to unlock the phone. 

We prefer Face ID, but the inclusion of a home button means the device uses the home button for control instead of gestures which might be preferable for some of you coming from older models. 

The lack of Face ID also means you don't get Animojis or Memojis. If you want to those you'll have to buy an iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, a phone from the iPhone 11 series, or a phone from the iPhone 12 series.
