iPhone 5 iOS 10.1.1 Update: 9 Things to Know in December

You Can Still Downgrade to iOS 10.1

If you decide you want to get off of iOS 10.1.1 know that you aren't stuck. 

Apple is still signing off on the iPhone 5's iOS 10.1 update which means you can take advantage of a loophole and drop back down to it if you think that will help performance. 

You can't drop down to anything older than iOS 10.1 though. Apple's closed up the iOS 10.0.2, iOS 10.0.1 and iOS 9.3.5 downgrades. 

We expect the iOS 10.1 loophole to be open for a few more days but it could close at any point, without warnng from Apple. For more on the downgrade process, take a look at our walkthrough.
