Here’s When iPhone X Pre-Orders Start
Apple iPhone X pre-orders begin few days and this guide outlines when, and where, they’ll start in your country.
Its taken a few weeks, but Apple’s finally ready to put its flagship 5.8-inch iPhone X on sale for the first time. The iPhone X release date is confirmed for November 3rd, but the company will deliver an early pre-order period giving consumers in the United States a chance to select an iPhone X for release date delivery.
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus pre-order period came and went without any major problems but we, and many others, expect the iPhone X launch to be a different beast.
Apple Stores will have some iPhone X stock available for walk-ins on the morning of November 3rd, but there’s no telling how much stock each store will have or how fast stock will fly off shelves.
If you want the iPhone X on November 3rd you’ll want to put in a pre-order when they begin. Rumors continue to hint at shipping delays and well-known Apple insider Ming-Chi Kuo claims the iPhone X won’t be widely available at launch due to various production issues. Apple will reportedly have two to three million devices available at launch.
There’s a chance iPhone X stock will sell out quickly so it’s important to prepare for the start of iPhone X pre-orders later this week.
When Do iPhone X Pre-Orders Start?
If you want to pre-order the iPhone X you might need to stay up late or wake up early depending on where you live. The iPhone X pre-order time is confirmed for 12:01AM on October 27th.
If you live in the Pacific Time Zone in the United States, you’ll most likely want to stay up until Midnight. However, if you live on the east coast, you might need to set an alarm to wake you up before work or class.
Here’s how the iPhone X pre-order time breaks down in the U.S. on Friday, October 27th:
- Pacific – 12:01 AM
- Eastern – 3:01 AM
- Central – 2:01 AM
- Mountain – 1:01 AM
If you live outside of the United States and one of those time zones, your iPhone X pre-order time will be a little or a whole lot different. Here’s what the iPhone X pre-order time looks like for other countries around the world:
- London – 8:01 AM
- Moscow – 10:01 AM
- New Delhi – 12:31 PM
- Shanghai –3:01 PM
- Tokyo –4:01 PM
- Melbourne –6:01 PM
- Auckland – 8:01 PM
Apple probably won’t be the only one taking iPhone X pre-orders at 12:01AM Pacific on October 27th.
The company’s carrier partners, which include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular in the United States, should also start taking early iPhone X orders on Friday.
We also expect a handful of third-party retailers to take iPhone X pre-orders. Best Buy recently launched an iPhone X splash page and it allows interested parties to signup for more information about the flagship device. Its also got an iPhone X order page live though you obviously can’t put in an order yet.
