PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, popularly known as PUBG, is one of the hottest Xbox games of 2017. There are some great reasons to buy it right now during the holidays, but there are also some great reasons to take a rain check and wait a few more days or maybe even a few more weeks.

PUBG’s finally made the transition from Windows PC to console and the game is now available for Microsoft’s Xbox One, Xbox One S, and the new Xbox One X.

The game’s already sold over three million copies and those numbers should only go up as consumers buy the game during and after the holiday season.

For those unfamiliar, PUBG is an online multiplayer battle royale that calls on 100 players to parachute onto an island and scavenge for supplies while killing off the remaining players. As time goes on, the map shrinks until you’re face-to-face with your adversaries.

It makes for some tense moments and it provides incredible amounts of fun for casual and hardcore gamers alike. There’s a reason the game’s sold over 20 million copies on the Windows PC.

While it might be tempting to buy PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds for Xbox right now now or in the near future, some of you are better off taking a rain check.
