Speed

• iOS 17.0.1 feels as fast as iOS 17.0.1 did and we haven’t noticed any abnormal lag, lockups, or freezes

The update’s release notes state that the update provides bug fixes and important security updates for iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models. You can get a look at the security patches over on Apple’s website.

If you’re moving up from iOS 16, your iOS 17.0.1 will be far more substantial because it will include the features and fixes from any updates you skipped.

If you still jailbreak, make sure you avoid the iOS 17.0.1 update.
