All New 2019 Mazda 3 Stuns With Upgraded Looks
The 2019 Mazda 3 arrived at the LA Auto Show with a new design, new features and an upgraded interior.
Available in a sedan and a hatchback, the 2019 Mazda 3 evokes a more aggressive style with a new look.
The Mazda 3 sedan isn’t as aggressive, opting for an elegant style over the sporty style of the hatchback. The hatchback is especially appealing.
This all new Mazda 3 uses the new Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture. Mazda says this helps people take advantage of their internal sense of balance and deliver a more natural driving experience.
Under the hood is a Skyactiv-X spark controller compression ignition engine and there is a manual transmission option. As well as G and D engine options.
You can still get a manual option and the shifter is now closer to the front of the car and a little higher, which should deliver a better overall position.
You can get the Mazda 3 in all wheel drive for the first time. Additional changes deliver a more stable ride and improve fuel economy over the 2018 Mazda 3 . There are no specific fuel economy numbers yet.
The interior looks quite upscale for the class and when I checked out the car in person the interior looked just as good as in the press photos. Mazda reduced the size of the A pillar to help reduce blind spots.
There is no 2019 Mazda 3 pricing yet, but you can expect to see more information in the near future.
