Expect Trade-in Offers

We don't know how Apple will price the Apple Watch 4, but given the upgrades we'd expect it to be in line with the Apple Watch 3's starting price point at the very least.

We aren't expecting a price drop which means those of you that aren't looking to pay top dollar have a few options.

First, you could opt for the Apple Watch 3 if the Apple Watch 4's asking price is too much. The Apple Watch 3 is getting watchOS 5 and should be supported for several more years making it a solid option for those on a budget.

If you really want the Apple Watch 4, but don't want to pay full price, look for Apple and its retail partners to provide trade-in offers to help offset the cost of the new model.

If your current watch is in good condition, you should be able to trade it in and knock some money off the price of a new Apple Watch.

If you've got a smartwatch in good condition you should check out the current trade-in prices at resellers like NextWorth and compare trade-in prices.
