Call of Duty: Heros

Call of Duty: Heros

Call of Duty is one of the most popular shooters in history. Any game knows that. The franchise has been around forever, and they too, have tried to get in on the Clash of Clans action.

In Call of Duty: Heros players will command an army of legendary heroes, elite soldiers, and devastating drones straight from the Call of Duty franchise in this 3D combat strategy game. Sound familiar? It's because while this game has its differences, everything is rather similar.

The Call of Duty franchise took a slightly different approach by having a top-down view that's more from the side and even has a 3rd-person attack mode while attacking other villages (or bases). Users will build up similar armies, save cash to upgrade everything, and use combat strategies to take down other players. Just like Clash of Clans.

Of course, you'll get killstreaks, UAV, care package drop-zones and more similar to Call of Duty, but this is a Clash of Clans type game through and through. You can team up with friends and have a Clan to help you, upgrade over 30 different buildings and more. If you love COD but also enjoy Clash of Clans, give this a try as well. It might take a minute to get into the swing of things, and the action. And of course, there are loads of in-app purchases here, just like any game that's similar to Clash. So use caution.

Fortress Legends is a great alternative! It’s a new game that’s quite unique compared to CoC and all the look-alikes. It’s foremost a defense building game. But there’s a strong element of action RPG because you control a hero to raid other players’ base in teams up to four. Your hero levels up, can take on one of four roles (mage, archer, warrior, assassin), be assigned a variety of abilities, and equipped different equipment that comes from forging. The art is well-designed and doesn’t look like a cartoon. Finally, there’s minimal pressure to pay – I’m one of the top players without paid a cent.

Wait for Faster Storage

The Galaxy S20's UFS 3.0 storage will soon be surpassed by another standard.

Samsung has started making the industry's first 512GB UFS 3.1 chip. According to Samsung, the 512GB eUFS 3.1 processes up to 60 percent faster than UFS 3.0. Random read and write speeds are apparently up to 60% faster.

What this means is that we'll soon see quicker transfers of the high-definition videos and photos shot with smartphone cameras.

Samsung says in addition to the 512GB option, the company will also have 256GB and 128GB capacities available for flagship smartphones that will be launched later in 2020.

So while it doesn't call it out by name, there's a good chance this technology appears on the Galaxy S21 series.
