Next, we have to mention ZAGG, as they are the original pioneer in screen protection. They still offer a few different types of screen protectors for every phone released.

New for the Galaxy S8 is the ZAGG InvisibleShield Sapphire Defense Curve. Made from glass and sapphire particles, the company claims it's the best protector yet. It was in the news lately for failing scratch tests, as sapphire should be almost impossible to scratch. However, ZAGG responded by stating the design resists broken screens more than scratches. This will still protect your phone it but might get scratches along the way.

It's also the most expensive on our list but comes from a brand millions know and trust.

Additionally, ZAGG has its standard InvisibleShield Glass Curve for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ available. It, like most glass protectors, are full of bad reviews saying the curve isn't lined up right and there are air pockets in-between the layers making the phone hard to use.  ZAGG completely redesigned the mold for the Galaxy S8 and claims that after testing over a dozen devices directly from Samsung the devices themselves they found some weren't the same as others. Making the process of building accessories a challenge. The new Glass Curve has implemented the changes detailed below.

The InvisibleShield Product Development Team scanned dozens of devices to establish “universal” measurements and the most accommodating curvature able to be applied to all devices.

  • All Glass Curve molds have been altered in accordance with the newly established “universal” tolerances.
  • A new layer has been integrated into all Glass Curve screen protectors to increase touch sensitivity, creating a stronger bridge between the device and the device’s screen.
  • A more aggressive adhesive has been applied to all new Glass Curve screen protectors to ensure improved adhesion even if the device has some variation within its screen and to keep the curved edge applied.

After reading that, we suggest trying ZAGG one more time on the Galaxy S8 or S8+.
