10 Best Galaxy S8 Screen Protectors

Next, we have to mention ZAGG, as they are the original pioneer in screen protection. They still offer a few different types of screen protectors for every phone released.

New for the Galaxy S8 is the ZAGG InvisibleShield Sapphire Defense Curve. Made from glass and sapphire particles, the company claims it's the best protector yet. It was in the news lately for failing scratch tests, as sapphire should be almost impossible to scratch. However, ZAGG responded by stating the design resists broken screens more than scratches. This will still protect your phone it but might get scratches along the way.

It's also the most expensive on our list but comes from a brand millions know and trust.

Additionally, ZAGG has its standard InvisibleShield Glass Curve for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ available. It, like most glass protectors, are full of bad reviews saying the curve isn't lined up right and there are air pockets in-between the layers making the phone hard to use.  ZAGG completely redesigned the mold for the Galaxy S8 and claims that after testing over a dozen devices directly from Samsung the devices themselves they found some weren't the same as others. Making the process of building accessories a challenge. The new Glass Curve has implemented the changes detailed below.

The InvisibleShield Product Development Team scanned dozens of devices to establish “universal” measurements and the most accommodating curvature able to be applied to all devices.

  • All Glass Curve molds have been altered in accordance with the newly established “universal” tolerances.
  • A new layer has been integrated into all Glass Curve screen protectors to increase touch sensitivity, creating a stronger bridge between the device and the device’s screen.
  • A more aggressive adhesive has been applied to all new Glass Curve screen protectors to ensure improved adhesion even if the device has some variation within its screen and to keep the curved edge applied.

After reading that, we suggest trying ZAGG one more time on the Galaxy S8 or S8+.

I Got the S8 Plus Glass Screen Protector from Tech Armor, 3D Curved Ballistic Glass. It is really perfect for me

I’m sure TGP isn’t gonna work as of now. I had enough experience with the s7. TGP may chip off in a week or two. I’m settling with the gadgetshieldz. I have used them on S7 and now getting for GS8 Ordered one already Hope that it will reach before my S8.

I do not think you all did your research before recommending these cases. Take a look at reviews online for them, now that the S8 is out. The tempered glass ones leave an air pocket beneath the protector which makes it almost impossible for the phone to pickup your touch near the corners, or when trying to text quickly.

I did actually. Multiple companies have released 2nd generation redesigned glass screen protectors that should have a better fit.

Prime example is ZAGG. Their new Glass Curve has an added layer of glass to make up for any differences to the curve, and they redid the glass molds with a “universal” sizing for the curved edge after testing over two dozen Galaxy S8 units and finding that even Samsung’s aren’t all the same… and have different degrees of angles. Their new product should hopefully be better.

Personally, I’m using a Spigen Flex on my S8+.

Terrible review. Completely out of touch with the reality that there simply is no tempered glass cover that works satisfactorily with the S8’s curved screen. They are a complete waste of money!

Your best bet is to go with something comparable to an inexpensive thin plastic protector. Or simply enjoy the high quality Gorilla glass.

I bought this one and it did not fit. I immediately emailed the company and they emailed back acknowledging that it doesn’t fit and agreed to give me a full refund. I would not recommend wasting time buying this product when the seller admits it is faulty.

I agree. Tempered glasses are great for the flat devices but not so much the curved ones. They have been a total failure with the curved devices with limited success with the iPhones. I would suggest going with any of the wet install protectors like the Gadgetshieldz or Zagg invisibleshield as they would perfectly fit those curved infinity displays of the S8 and S8+ due to the thin nature of those films.

Totally out of touch review. There is no glass protector on the market that works on the S8+ NONE. Even if one actually worked for a day or so as soon as you put a case on the phone you are done

So it seems that your base of rating is amazon rating… have you even investigate those ratings ? In most cases those reviews are dated on same day or few dates, but still 10 five stars on one day another 5 stars two days later and another 10 days later. It’s clear to me that those came from Chinese review farms. And only real opinions are usually one star… Please be intelligent when posting those kind of pseudo tests.

Did these companies pay you to leave these reviews. I haven’t found a real glass cover that has good ratings. Your first recommendation has a 2.5 star rating on a $40 item.
Now I don’t trust your site either.

I bought the Zagg tempered glass in May with my S8 plus, I have had to replace it 4 times already, the adhesive will not stay stuck to my phone. Sure they offer free replacements, but at 9.99 shipp9ng each time. I’ve been a Zagg customer for years and until this model was always very happy. Their curved glass protector is a huge waste of money.
