If you are looking for something with a little more protection for the iPad Pro, this is the option that you need. I like that you can remove the keyboard and still have your iPad protected, and the kickstand is perfect for watching movies on a plane or in bed.
You can pair the Slim Book Pro to multiple devices, so you can use it with your iPad Pro and with your iPhone. Zagg also sells a cheaper Messenger Folio that is just $69.99 for the 11-inch model and a rugged iPad Pro keyboard for the 111-inch model that is $149.99.

The Apple Smart Keyboard folio is a good option if you don’t need backlit keys.
The Apple Smart Keyboard Folio is one of the most popular iPad Pro keyboard cases you can buy for the 2018 models. It’s a nice keyboard case that offers a decent typing experience and that protects your iPad Pro with a slim cover when not in use. Apple even adds a second angle to this new version, that makes working on a lap a little easier.
With this option you get Apple fit and finish with a nice looking case, but you don’t get backlit keys and lap use is more challenging than with the Brydge or Zagg options.

If you want a cheap option with good reviews, go for the IVSO on Amazon.
You can still get a good 2018 iPad Pro keyboard case without breaking the bank. On Amazon there are a lot of cheap iPad Pro keyboard cases, but the one with the best reviews and a price under $50 is the IVSO keyboard case.
This case is available for the 2018 iPad Pro in 11-inch and 12.9-inch sizes and it includes a kickstand, a spot to store the Apple Pencil and it will wake and sleep the iPad Pro when you open and close it.

A 9.7-inch iPad Pro keyboard case to turn your iPad into a laptop replacement.
Even with the older iPad Pro models, Brydge has you covered with an amazing iPad Pro 9.7-inch keyboard case. It’s backlit to three levels, includes very good key travel and the arrow keys are the good style that makes it easy to move around in a document with touch. That’s an excellent option since you don’t have a mouse to get to the spot in text that you want. It’s easy to put the iPad Pro in this keyboard case, and then slide it out when you want to use it as just a tablet. This is a $99 iPad Pro keyboard case.

Apple Smart Keyboard
The official Apple option is a nice keyboard for the 1st and 2nd gen iPad Pro 12.9.
While it doesn’t offer as many options as the newest Apple Smart Keyboard Folio, the version for the old 12.9-inch iPad Pro is still a tried and true keyboard case. You get a full size keyboard, no need to charge it thanks to the Smart Connector and decent key travel. There is no backlighting and no other angle, but it’s a nice option.

As of this writing, the top-recommended case is not only not actually available but is advertised all over this page as being available for “pre-order.” I realize there’s a lot left to 2019, but how and why recommend a case that “you can buy in 2019” when it isn’t actually available and has no specific targeted release date? Not to mention that, until it’s actually available, there’s no guarantee it ever will be.
